Social entrepreneur Zita Cobb is a native of Fogo Island, located off the coast of Newfoundland, and she returned to her childhood home with a vision for how to sustain the island’s unique way of life in the face of the collapse of its fishing industry. In collaboration with architect Todd Saunders, they have built a collection of unique artist studios and a hotel, all attuned the island’s stunning landscape, buildings that have become the catalyst for social change, and the arrival A-list guests, like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as well as Gwyneth Paltrow! “Captures a bold architecture project that embraces the excitement of living on the edge, both in relation to nature and to contemporary design. A beautifully shot film that captures the stunning landscape and extraordinary architecture.” (Architecture & Design Film Festival)
